My friend Keith is a die hard rugby fan.
An Irishman through and through.
But he’s had no beer to celebrate the rugby so far…just mineral water!
Well I was coaching Keith last night.
He’s lost an amazing 2 stone in a month, give or take a pound.
He’s been working hard on his training program.
He looks great.
There’s a big smile on his face again
“I feel amazing”
“I can fit back into my clothes”
That pretty much sums up what many of us want in a nutshell.
But most don’t take the steps to make it happen, just talk about a training program.
Like all of us at some point, Keith fell into the horrible place.
Weight goes on, feel crap and the downward cycle begins.
I’ve done it too!
But Keith is a ‘doer’ not a talker or information collector.
He likes being held accountable.
So I took a different approach as he’s a very busy guy.
If anyone has an excuse he does.
Here’s how it worked…
I wrote a bespoke training program for him to do on his own time.
I review the program each week and progress it monthly.
He can see and measure his own progress.
I check in with him that he’s done what he said he would do.
The key to any success is DOING something.
Just take a deep breath and START.
