I’m up in sunny Blackpool at the moment (it’s pouring outside!).
Im here on a the International Fitness Showcase fitness weekend for geeks like me and people who just like training.
Don’t tell any but…
I’ve just come out of an aerobics class.
I’m please to say ‘I’ve still got it’.
Perfect cues, a few grapevines and some chassés.
I was just missing some leg warmers, a head band and a snug Lycra out fit (sleep well with that image tonight).
It was just a bit of fun between lectures and some workshops (allegedly there is a video of me!)
The class was run by a friend of mine called Cerri Hannon.
He’s one of the most respected choreographers in Europe.
He and a plethora of experts from all over the world are here.
I’ve been very selective what I’ve gone to this year.
Because I have a clear idea of what I want.
Knowledge that will benefit both you and me.
Your health, the way you feel, your longevity.
Because all of this goes way beyond just losing a bit of body fat.
Despite having a degree in exercise science, over 25 years of coaching experience.
You never stop learning.
Research gets better.
Thats why I’ve invested over £2.5k this weekend.
This includes areas of biomechanics, neurology and something I’ve been working on for a while which i’ll be introducing soon.
It’s my job to ensure you get the best coaching (if I already coach you!).
The most up to date research.
It’s my job to put it into a format that you’ll enjoy and you can achieve.
Anyway, I need to get out of my leotard and grab a shower.
