Have you seen the news with our prime minister?
Allegedly placing his private parts in a dead pigs mouth some years ago!
It’s put me off pork for a while.
And I’m certainly not having pulled pork tonight!
(ok enough jokes.)
Poor old Cameron, love him or hate him, he doesn’t deserve this in the public eye.
We’ve all done it!
I’m not into politics but here’s the background if you’ve been living in a cave.
Michael Ashcroft, a politician and businessman wrote an unauthorised biography saying that our PM had allegedly gone through this initiation.
Why am I making a joke of it?
Well I’m not really interested what kind of meat Cameron was into 30 years ago (excuse the pun).
I’m more concerned with what he’s doing now!
The likes of Ashcroft coming out from under his rock just to promote a book is a bit below the belt, negative and doesn’t really help anyone other than probably make him feel good.
Despite all of Ashcroft’s other achievements, this is what he could be known and remembered for.
OK he might sell a few books, but it’s not how I’d want to go down in history.
After 25 years of coaching I’d rather be known for the good things I’ve done.
Getting people back in shape, restoring their confidence.
Teaching hundreds of people how to use kettlebells.
Inspiring people to take on challenges.
It’s easy to point a finger, have a go and criticize other people who are trying hard.
Hell, I even had someone say to my face, “I don’t think you’ll complete your triathlon.” (managed to mention it again!).
As if I needed that to inspire me!
It’s just as well I’ve got thicker crackling…I mean skin.
If you need some help just drop me a line.
