24 Screaming Kids

I hope you had a good weekend.
While some of you were doing mud runs I had one of the toughest workouts of my life!
It was exhausting.
A Childrens Party!
It was my twins, Lance and Erin’s, 5th birthday.
Batman and Elsa!
For those of you not versed in disney animation, that’s the princess from Frozen!
That song, ‘Let it go’, was like white noise mixed in with 24 noisy kids.
Mrs P has  done a few of these parties. I just do as I’m told!
She deserves a cape and a big S on her chest.
Military organisation and some cracking jam sandwiches too.
It was a strange day though.
A day for celebration and some reflection.
Going from being told you will never have children, to having three.
It’s a bit of a game changer….for the better of course.
In truth I felt a bit scared on the twins birthday.  It’s scary being a parent.
Because they are reliant on you.
So looking after yourself becomes even more important.
I’m sure you know someone who is overweight, gets out of breath, high blood pressure or generally feeling rubbish but keep barking on that they are going to do something about it and never do.
In most cases…
These are symptoms of a lifestyle they need to change.
The only thing left is what are they going to do about it?
I’m running a free kettlebell induction this weekend on Saturday at 10:30am at Pleshey.
It’s only open to 5 people.
